Workshop: Tools and design principles to support the development of (innovative) pedagogies for mobile learning in schools and teacher education.
In this workshop we will explore some key results of two EU projects on mobile learning: ‘Designing and Evaluating Innovative Mobile Pedagogies’ (DEIMP 2017-2020) and its predecessor the ‘Mobilising and Transforming Teacher Educators’ Pedagogies Project(MTTEP, 2014-2017).
The focus will be on the Mobile Learning Toolkit and its iPAC framework and (design) principles for innovative mobile learning scenarios.
We conclude by analysing how the general pedagogical iPAC framework and the principles presented relate to discipline-specific recent approaches such as the framework for mobile assisted language teaching and learning and the principles for mobile assisted language learning (MALL) proposed by Kukulska-Hulme et al. (2015) and Stockwell & Hubbard (2013) respectively.

Workshop: Over to you.
During the keynote presentation on Wednesday you will receive an invitation to choose one of three workshop topics: Peer reviewing skills will prepare you for the task of academic reviews for journal publications. Eyetracking in a sociocultural framework will introduce you to the benefits and challenges of this method. And selecting digital tools for language teaching is aimed at teachers who want to introduce online elements into their classroom teaching. The choice is yours.
